Pooyan Tamimi Arab (1983) studied Art History and Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam and the New School for Social Research. He is currently a PhD candidate at the department of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University, doing field research on Islam and the right to the city in the Netherlands.
