Rutger Claassen is associate professor of ethics and political philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at Utrecht University and has published various articles on the legitimacy and limits of markets and other issues of ethics and economics, in journals like Economics & Philosophy, Politics, Philosophy and Economics and Inquiry. He also regularly publishes in Dutch, and his latest book is Het huis van de vrijheid (Ambo 2011).
