Abstract

Ned Rossiter is Professor of Communication at the Institute for Culture and Society, University of Western Sydney and teaches at the School of Humanities and Communication Arts. His forthcoming book is titled Software, Infrastructure, Labor: A Media Theory of Logistical Nightmares. Currently he is coordinating the tricontinental research project Logistical Worlds: Infrastructure, Software, Labour (https://logisticalworlds.org/) with Brett Neilson. 

Soenke Zehle is lecturer in Media Theory at the Academy of Fine Arts Saar, Germany, and co-founder and managing director of the academy's xm:lab – Experimental Media Lab. His recent research has focused on the relationship between algorithmic cultures and the status of aesthetic experience, with a particular focus on documentarisms as well as depletion design strategies.

Daniel de Zeeuw

Daniel de Zeeuw is a PhD-candidate at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (University of Amsterdam). He is also co-editor of Krisis: Journal for contemporary philosophy and affiliated researcher at the Institute of Network Cultures. His research explores the politics and aesthetics of contemporary digital culture, art and activism.
